Shorelines also provide so many ecosystem services that benefit humans and many other organisms, as
well as help mitigate climate change impacts . They are dynamic spaces, and it is up to us to allow those
natural processes to continue so that our shorelines remain resilient to change . When we take care of
shorelines, the shorelines take care of us .
BOTTOM LINE:
What happens on the shorelines connects us all.
Let’s act consciously and be stewards to help maintain these
incredibly important ecosystems!
