Climate Change Primer

The following document,Impacts of Climate Change on Shorelines, People, and Salmon: Nature-Based Approaches for Ecosystem Health, provides an overview of climate-change impacts on the south and east coast of Vancouver Island, the impacts of hard armouring, the value of preserving natural shorelines, and how to use nature-based solutions as adaptation strategies for sea level rise.

Short on time? Check out our Primer short form. This condensed version provides an overview of everything in the above document with a focus on nature-based solutions. We will be handing out printed copies of this short form at events, alternatively you could request a copy of either at salmon@psf.ca.
